We had a good few of the old crew back together for couple of surfs last weekend. Its been a while since we've all been out in the water together. Two surfs back to back with new years celebrations in between in the Garavogue, Sligo. Our Stomachs were filled on both days some lovely food from the Beach Bar. Reasonably priced and highly recommended for a post surf feed!
The swell forecast was looking pretty big, ranging between 4m to 6.5m, so we had to head to one of the sheltered beach breaks up in Sligo. We had some cracking clean waves on new years eve and even better on new years day with the rising swell and wave period. The water was surprisingly uncrowded on both days and it was nice to get the pick of the waves! Here's to a great years surfing, happy new year to you all!
