I took full advantage of having Friday off and met Marc in Sligo. So nice to have the full length of the beach to ourselves... this will be the scene over the coming months as the water temperature drops. A westerly swell was coming in but with strong winds around it wasn't clean sets rolling in.
But you don't always need perfect looking waves to have a great session... I still got some sweet rides on the 2 - 3 footers that came my way.
I think Mark McGuire (Powersource Surfboards) will be getting some business soon; I gave Marc a shot on my new board and seems to have a similar one on the list for Santa!
