Streedagh is located about half way between Sligo and Bundoran and is probably my favourite location to surf...when its working right its a great beach break.
The beach is North Westerly facing and picks up plenty of West and North swell. This is a great location for beginner and intermediate surfers and can, on big swells, bring in some decent sized waves over 4 foot. The waves are different here than Tullan Strand, they dont tend to dump as much.
This a long sandy beach and becomes more exposed as you head Northwards. The beach can be busy during the summer time but rarely crowded during the colder months.
Catching this beach with a decent swell and Easterly or South Easterly winds could give you an awesome session.
