Surf Hoods

With one of the coldest Winters just passed and the waters still extremely cold, a good hood can save you from an ice-cream headache!

As with booties there are many brands and types of hoods on the market. From my experince you should buy a hood in a shop where you can try it on...we all have different size heads!

I went for a balaclava style hood, a Tiki 4mm which is great but mightn't suit everyone...this one nearly choked my brother so he had to opt for a hat with a strap instead!

Whatever hood you go for try get one with a peek...you'll understand the first time you get a few waves in the face!
